I agree. If you have a dog that has a high prey drive it makes a wonderful dog once you can harness it. Dalmations were working dogs originally.

Yes, the dummy is for teaching retrieve for Labs etc. The have a great memory for where it drops. You have to throw it in a high arc so he can see where it falls. You can buy a dummy from pets at home ... |

Ignore him when he is looking for attention. Teach him to go to his bed. The give him attention there. Once he goes to his bed on his own he can be called over to you for some attention.

You can tell which puppy in a litter is the dominant one. Sometimes you don't get to see the rest of the litter and get whats left.

If you have a dominant aggressive dog, then yes I agree you may have a problem. But most people don't. I still have to find a dog that it wont work on. You are just blocking them, not forcing them.

I just read my reply and didn't sound quite right.
What I meant was that I do like the dominant dog collar, but not a prong collar. But once again not wanting to open that can of worms. |
