I had the same problem with Fred until I got a "Vet Bed", it's a Grey synthetic fur type thing, I'm not sure if it doesn't taste too good but it has outlasted all the other types I tried.

Yes you still can, there are 3 pens, one with spoodles I think they were called at £1200 each(poodle crossed with a shar pai or however it's spelled), can't remember the other one but they were £150 ...
