Ava was never to bad but Dawn has a few Shetlands and oh my god!!!! Yeah this would probably work a treat!! They had it advertised for cats/dogs and horses! I wish I had known about them when I had Ava would have probably saved me ages Laughing

I always think the Furminator removes too much undercoat. I only ever used this on Labrabors, Mastiffs etc, short haired breeds.

Another thing I find with the Furminator is if you have a dog who has, for example, black outer-coat and brown under-coat, it removes a lot of the black coat aswell as some of the brown.

I much prefer the Ancol Groomking Shedding Blade:

I swear by this when grooming Roxy. She has a black outer-coat and brown under-coat. Thhe Furminator removes too much of both coats. The shedding blade brings her up a treat, and also seems to help with her shedding. I would recommend these.
