right and left

do you think it is possible for a dog to be right or left handed (or pawed in there case) i ask this because with Inca i have noticed that she will only jump for me when she is on my right hand side, even if i start her on my left she will swing round to my right.(this has cosed a few collisions with the poles for both me and her ) and if i have her on a lead she will refuse to jump.

my mum suggested that dogs could be right or left handed/pawed and prefer to do things a certain way like some drivers prefer to revers into a parking space on there right rather than there left cos it is more comfortable.
i was just wanting to know any ones thought on this as she does everything ells on my left except the jumps

I was told by an agility trainer that their brains develop more on one side or the other depending how you work with them. So its a good idea to get them used to walking to heel etc. on either side. For agility they need to work both ways.

Dale definitely seems to prefer using his right paw.
