Rhanna has her tail as you know Suzanne, but I still think it looks stupid sometimes Very Happy though it doesnt bother me if they are done or not, but looking at Rhannas you can see where it looks like it should be docked honest, next time I have her out look at it Very Happy

I like terriers and hounds and Allan did hunt and that is what is in their genes but I would be terrified to loose a small terrier to a rabbit burrow, Allans friend has had it happen a few times, luckily he has got the dogs back, one in particular after a few days.... I would be hysterical, im going to have to watch when I eventually get that Beddlington Rolling Eyes though they are bigger im sure they could still get stuck down a hole

I prefer them to have the dew claws removed but again wont stop me having a dog thats not done, Pixels arent done and she has torn the nails off a few times....horrible and painful. Sad

I watched the Snauzers getting there tails done when my mum bred them....she always got the vet, (I know some have did them on their own Shocked) They did squeal at the moment of getting it done, but more like a quick once and it was over so I cant say they never felt it, but I think the vet doing it quickly and cleanly def. was better.

I will stand on the fence on this one as I know many hunting people and know first or second hand both sides to it. though I am glad its stopped for most breeds, for cosmetic purposes...we can only wait and see from the hunting/working side later on if it has made much difference to injuries
