Proud of you, girl. So tenacious. _________________ Regards,

spoke with the sspca manager this morning there will be nothing anyone can do at the moment until the vet decides what is happening but I have sent all the information across to them and contact details of vesna at greek animal rescue should they need more help and advice.
I have done all there can be done at the moment. We will just have to wait and see what the vets decision is now as it is not a dog welfare matter at the moment.
Fingers crossed for a good outcome for these dogs. |

I have been phoning the Bothwell bridge every half hour or so since Monday and cannot get through. I have left a message on a mobile number Margaret gave me to say that German Shepherd Rescue is willing to help with the re homing. As yet no one has come back to me. I am hoping to go up and assess the dogs and get a picture for the GSR website thereafter the co-ordinator can match the dogs to suitable families who are waiting to adopt.
I think things are still in the hands of the SSPCA vet and until they make a decision on whether the dogs can be rehomed or have to be destroyed there is nothing anyone can do.
Margaret has managed to speak with someone at length - and through her intervention they know there is a lot of interest out there -but as yet no result. I think it is not looking good for Boo, but hopefully the other dogs will be able to be rehomed.
Not pm'd Margaret today, she may have a further update. |
