Hi there y'all...
I was just after telling Steven about how much of a big jessie Leon was becoming on the walks... and he said that he had saw a bit of a Dog Whisperer the other night where he was working with a really timid big dog who was scared of everything - buggies, cyclists etc...
Drat! I missed it... did anyone see it? If so, can you give me the jist of it?! (Cos I'm betting his dog didn't try and rip the back of his leg off! I've actually got claw marks and bruising on my calf - thru two pairs of trousers - from where he tried to climb up me yesterday!)

from his description (steven's that is!) I think it was a weimeraner* or something that looks like that - a kinda light brown colour like Daka... (might have been a ridgeback then!!!)
* no idea how to spell that! _________________ Dogs are the leaders of the planet.

I watched it a while back and it was a Vizla that had come from living in the country to living in the city.
Can't really remember what he did, but think it involved getting the dog out into those situations, being a calm assertive leader, owner had to be confident for the dog. |

Oh yeah he did do that.
Put him into a confident state of mind.
I got Cesar's book for Xmas, will see if he says anything about it. |

Was it Milan who said if you wag the tail the dogs responds as though it is happy. I can't remember where I read it or maybe saw it on a dog programme. The idea always made me smile. _________________ Regards,
