I had a look about in the forums but could not find an answer.
Sukey finished her first heat about three weeks ago. She's 8 months old.
Of course her lady bits got quite puffy. But she now has boobs like Jordan!
She was never exposed to any males, so I know she's not pregnant.
Will her teats go back to normal size?
I plan to get her spayed ASAP.
Thanks!
Jill

Her hormones will be all over the place just now. They will go back down, some dogs it will happen when the season finishes other will take a bit longer.

hi. I am not sure if the teats go down my dog finish her season last week and hers have not went down yet also. I am getting yoda spayed but the vet stated to wait until 3 months had passed since her last season.

Hi Jill her teats should go back to normal soon, and I would also recommend 3 months after her season to have her seen to.

Hiya. If the teats are quite swollen give them a little squeeze to see if milk comes out. If she has definitely not been 'caught' during her season she could be having a false pregnancy. A quick visit to vet for some tabs will sort that. Very Happy Same thing happened to Mishka
