Well we are off to the vets tomorrow morning for quick check ups before they can have their ops. We have decided to get them both done at the same time as feel it would be easier on them both if they were to be stuck in the house together not well.

dreading it Shocked

does it take long to recover from Question

tell you one thing my purse will be alot lighter Rolling Eyes

Hi Magz, we got Holly done earlier this year, she recovered really quickly... the hardest thing was following the vets advice of not letting her jump about Rolling Eyes

She didn't seem to have much discomfort at all the day after the op.
she did roll over a couple of times on the day and whimper if she lent on her scar, but as I say a day or so and she was fine. Depends on size of dogs as well I guess.

they'll be fine thumbright

Its the bl00dy 'parents' that get all worked up Embarassed Laughing Laughing Laughing

Cassie is booked in to get done on Tuesday Confused vet said makes no difference either way getting the two done at once but would prefer it for Kiera to be done at the 3 month post season so we will just go with that. Poor cassie was not pleased in getting her lady garden prodded though. Shocked

It's so worrying when they go for operations isn't it? No matter how much you tell yourself that everything will be fine (and it is) you still worry and clock watch. All you can do is what you are doing, keep busy and try not to fret. (I'm sure you will anyway but try to keep your mind off it!) All will be well. Take care and good luck.
