Hi Kevin,

not too sure when you should get Nevis done but you can ask Robert Baskerville who is a member on here. His wife Louise is a dog groomer and has groomed many of our members dogs with great results! Smile
They will be able to advise you.

Im not too sure, its all short haired dogs I have and my mum has had Schnauzers but I cant remember when they were done, 9 mths maybe

Anna with Tilly will be able to tell you better when she comes on, she has a westie

I think maybe when they start to look scruffy Very Happy

Thanks for the advice, will give them a call.

I see you will be walking Ben Nevis later this year, this may be obvious but thats who nevis is named after, as myself, wife and kids go on holiday to Fort William each year and stay down Glen Nevis at the Caravan and Camping Park at the foot of the Ben, hope you all have a great time have been about half way up the Ben with the kids twice and the walk anf views are stunning, going up again this july cant wait so peacfull, big difference from the noise of the big city.

I just picked up Tilly from her grooming session. I'll need to get a picture up Laughing

Anyway if it's not too out of the way we take Tilly to Avalon Kennels in Bishopbriggs, they breed westies, that's where we got her so they have alot of westie grooming experience. 0141 772 7198

If you are unsure of what age to get him groomed they will give you some advice. Hope that helps

Didn't know if you had opened a new topic for food but when Tilly was as small as Nevis she got 1/4 of the puppy pouches per meal (james wellbeloved is what we use) now that she's 6 months she gets 1/3 of a pouch
