Gaelle, he is fine. As long as he is fit and enjoying life I would not want to put too much weight on him. Far better to have a dog which enjoys his life rather than a fat boy.

We had Otto at the vet for his jabs...and the vet said he was in perfect physical condition and the right weight/amount of fat on him.

So just shows, the show dogs are fat, he's not thin Laughing

I've always thought that the show dogs I've seen looked fat to me but the show owners take great exception to that idea! Laughing Laughing I agree definitely Cuthbert can just gain weight naturally without being pushed to reach a certain number by a certain time. Thanks.
PS That's what my vet said last time he was there too.

i would say he is prefect, i also think alot of show dogs a a bit on the fat side.
