He'll be woosy for a day or 2, then the challenge is to keep him calm cos they're not supposed to jump about or run up and down stairs due to internal stitches.
He'll just need a bit of TLC and quiet for the first few days.
And you'll have to keep him in about for a few days and no off lead stuff for a week or so.
We had a collar for Otto in case he licked the area, but it didn't seem to bother him at all.
They recover very quickly. We didn't notice much of a difference before or after other than humping stopped. |

he'll be fine... he will perk up pretty quickly and then you will be struggling to keep him calm!
you will be amazed at their recovery... for the first few hours leon wouldn;t walk and kept looking between his legs (can't blame him really) then he got better at a phenomenal pace!
I'm sure he will recover from his op quicker than you will from the footie results... why not drown your sorrows with a couple of Millers??? _________________ Dogs are the leaders of the planet.

Walks on lead until the wound has healed and he'll be fine. |

You'll be surprised - I expected a big wound with stitches but you don't see anything, just a flap of skin that is now, sadly, empty. |
