PetAlert pet tag Alert!

Near miss this morning... the tag on Doogle's collar supplied by Pet Alert, with their phone number and his ID number, was very nearly a potential trip to the vet or worse!

Izzy noticed him chewing on something that turned out to be the plastic 'backing' for the tag. She had to recover pieces of it from his throat and just as well she got it all out because it was SHARP!

Not sure shy it fell to pieces (Doggle certainly couldn't have reached it) but this calls for a firm complaint to the company

Will be getting one-piece metal tags too!

yeh I never put them on my two as if they stray the vets or dog shelter that they are handed into will scan them automtically and should get my details. If's a theft thing then you have the paper work at home along with your other stuff like insurance so you can prove he's yours via that.
