I think we're learning as much as him.

We'd both had dogs before but not a puppy, so I think I had every book going and just gleaned what made sense. Then had to teach Ian and our young lad the basics.

I think I got a bit obsessed about it haha! I became a sort of rules monitor. Was lucky not to get put in the crate myself I think. I've calmed down now that we're all into a routine - and can see that if we play by the rules, so does he.

He's going to be a big bouncy dog - which is why we chose that breed ie to come hillwalking and camping with us and be part of the family. He is hard work, but it's already starting to pay off, and luckily he's cheeky but doesn't push his luck too far.

So far - he's not reached adolescence yet!
