Nothing I'm really phobic about - few things I'm not that keen on.

I used to be terrified of the dentist, but I had to get all my wisdom teeth out 10 years ago as they were impacted and it was such a relief to get them out I was never scared again. I've even had root canal treatment - don't love it.

Not keen on heights but can deal with it as long as there is no real danger of death - which wasn't the case during a recent climb up Ben Alder where I clung to a precarious rock and burst into tears and Ian had to coax me back up, hiding the fact he was equally scared. Even experienced hillwalkers can make mistakes!

You wouldn't get me in a confined space for love nor money! Caving? No chance.

There was me...thinking hey I am not as big a scardy cat as I thought...then someone mentions caving.

I went caving just after I left school, just outside Eyam in Derbyshire and I can honestly say its the only time I freaked out. It didn't help that the kid in front of me was a moronic pratt from 'darn sarf' who was a lazy useless ****...and then they made us turn out lights off Shocked
It isn't something I will intentionally repeat!

I have a number of things that make me nervous, but nothing that makes me loose it like I did in the caves!

Oh I'm rubbish... I can't think of anything that I'm scared of... sorry.
But me and kerry went caving in New Zealand, out by my sisters farm...
Was amazing too many good bits to tell....
at one point we were swimming up river in a cave about 200m underground, they made us climb up the walls, and into another cave above the river one... This cave had a whole in it, so the guide says that we've to drop down it.... with the lights off.... yeah right...
He went first, as he let go he made a screaming noise that seemed to last for ever then there was a splash... Then he made me go... then Kerry (was sooooo funny) he said after three everyone turn out their lights and kerry you drop..... 1..... 2..... 3...... all the lights went out........... then kerry went 'I'm still here', when we put the lights back on all you could see was here feet hanging out this whole in the roof... was sooo funny... she did it eventually..
Thats one of the best things I've ever done.

Wow... sorry about the book....
Very Happy

i didnt find it funny Sad but glad i did it Smile you only fell about 10ft but it felt like forever becauase it was in pitch darkness. i did think the 300ft abseil into the cave was scarier, come to think of it the whole 7 hours of the journey was scary, but one of the best things i have ever done. think it was called the lost world, epic adventure?

I'd do it... i'm not saying I wouldn't be a bit worried on the platform, but I'd do it... we watched the biggest budgie jump in the world in NZ, don't think i'd do that one though. They take you out on a cable car to the middle of a massive valley, then you jump from the cable car.... how stupid is that?
