He seems absolutely indifferent to the fact hes had an operation. hes trying to run around already!!!! Shocked Shocked This whole rest thing should be fun!! hes a little bit bruised and trying to get round to his wound a bit but otherwise he seems absolutely fine!! He's obviously not using the leg yet but already it looks a normal shape and i think he has better movement in it already!

Yeah the stitches r all inside and just a row of staples on the outside. No bandages or anything, they need him to start using it fairly soon. I'm sure alfie will just love having all those staples removed tho....he's not the bravest!!

alfie is doing fab....better than i thought he would!! he's started to put that leg down when he walks already!!! id say hes almost walking better than he did before and its still got lots better to get. his hock is all puffy and swollen and his bruising is a bit worse today, inside of his leg is almost black in areas!! but i took him a wee walk up to the grassy bit up the road from me and he was trying to run around, think its worse cos he hasnt been getting his big walks so when he does get out hes raring to go. being really good and calm in the house tho, just lying up with me on the couch sleeping! hes on 2 lots of painkillers tho and think theyre making him a bit chilled. not arguing! so long as he doesnt get too used to getting all these cuddles!!!

Yeah it's really good. Whereas before when he sat both legs pointed to the same side because his leg was bowed in, he now looks normal. And he's really not bothered by it. He's lying on the sore side just now which I'd have thought would b sore but he's snoring away!!
He has licked a staple out tho.....oops bad mummy not putting his collar on!!!!!
