Well after running around mad yesterday Blaze cut his paw........not too bad.

We took him home and cleaned it up.......very clean cut which had stopped bleeding and was treated with savlon.

Obviously feeling good he then he decided to run around on the sharp red stone chips in the garden......and opened the cut pad wide Crying or Very sad

So Pauline and I took him up to the emergency vet ( he was losing so much blood he got bandaged outside to save a mess on the floor!).........they knocked him out, stitched him up and removed £205 from Paulines debit card..........

John

Ouch!! on both counts

that beats my bills this month! although Huey seems determined to try and change that! he managed to set himself on fire last night jumping on the gas hob while it was on. Thankfully paw hair was the only casualty.

burnt dog hair it not what you want to be smelling just before dinner.

glad Blaze is ok tho

oh what a shame. All we seem to do is pay vets our hard earned cash.
