HI
Tia is back to normal .......... she goes for a check up Friday on her wound and we are just wondering if anyone has any tips on removing the dressing, the vet said if it came off just keep it clean but its stuck fast....don't think I could watch the vet do what my old Mum used to do to me and rip it off.

you could try a wet sponge and just dab it teasing it but i think that your old mum's way's the best! _________________ Cockapoo's...a little of this, a little of that..........

usually if you dab some alcohol like surgical spirit over the sticky bit, the glue dissolves and it comes off easier (maybe the alcohol swabs in first aid kits would work but not sure if theyre wet enough). just dont put it on the wound......ouch |

Hi as Janis says keep it on and let the vet remove it. If Tia comes back still covered I would get "Zof" from the chemists. It is used to remove sticking plaster. Mind you, I do not know if it is still on sale as the kids discovered that if you sniff it, it makes you laugh out loud as if it was laughing gas. |
