Hi
Just introducing myself and my pooch
I have an amazing German Shepherd (even if she is a bit off the rails ) called Cleo and 3 cats who are also amazing. Cleo is nervous aggressive but after just 2 weeks at the club, she has settled better than she did after 3 8 week blocks at another training club. When the football season finishes, hopefully we will be able to come to classes on a Sunday too.( Cleo and I go watch my older son play footie on a Sunday )

hi sharon and cleo i have two mad chocolate labs called olivia and yoda. Enjoy the site and classes they are the best. We moved to tillicoultry so it was not working out with traveling to class which was a shame. I went to a few classes up this way and found they were no where as good as johns class so we gave up. _________________ "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." |

Hi Amanda and Janis
My 1st 2 weeks at the club have been great. It is nice not to feel unwelcome. The last training club Cleo was at was good-------for dogs who already behaved well. Unfortunately, or fortunately, Cleo didn't "fit in". She's a great dog in her own comfort zone. A big softie. I just need to find a way to increase her comfort zone to include the big wide world. I was brought up with Shepherds and the odd Great Dane then had Spaniels after I got married. I now volunteer with German Shepherd Rescue Scotland so dogs have been and always will be a big part of my life. Just as well my husband and 3 kids like animals.
Cleo and I are looking forward to Thursday.

Hi Sharon welcome to the forum.
I own 3 dogs, Muffin bearded collie x, Totts JRT x, and Amber cocker poodle x.
Muffin and Totts have both been re homed, Muffin suffering separation anxiety with us now being her umpteenth home, and Totts was one of the most nervous (although never aggressive) dogs i've personally ever come across. Bit of TLC and a good support unit and you can achieve anything. Muffin rarely gets to the same level of anxiety as she used to if at all and Totts is now quite happy to meet most strangers and have cuddles. Also involved in a charity, called oldies club, (due to Muffin being re homed to us at 11 years of age and being such a great dog) have heard a lot about German Shepherd Rescue Scotland you's do a great job.
Can already see a difference in Cleo at class
