well it's official, huey is completely taking the mick right out of me.
After his poor performance at his last two classes i thought ,right that's it back to basics!! but there was no need he knows fine well what to do!!! and perfectly at that!! GRRRRR!
so thinking maybe i need to socialise him more with other dogs and take away the novelty? not sure if that will just make him more excitable or not?
suggestions welcome.
thanks

Hi
Yeah, we know how you feel, Tia the destroyer formerly known as Princess Tia is at it to, today she ripped up an ARGOS catalogue, shredded the inside out her duvet and soaked to death Susans new top from NEXT ( and the delivery bag ), We put it down to the fact that we were off the last two weeks,...but yeah defo more socialization helps it tires them out so the walks help we try and do Broadwood when its dry so will post up when we are going...and you can join us. _________________ Alice & Susan & Princess Tia

They were all playing up on Sunday so wouldn't worry. I've given up worrying about when alf ignores me in class now!!! Def helps to keep refreshing the basics and plenty socialisation. Alfie being a bit weird with bouncy dogs just now and not sure why as nothing has happened. I think best not to avoid the situation tho so want to keep up with socialising as best as can and hope he settles!! I think the group walks are good for helping Alfie walk calmly with other dogs cos his normal encounters are just running around like a maddy in the park with them!! Tho he does occasionally like to pounce on Tia during the walk ha ha!
I think they all like to test u every now and then. Keeps u on ur toes!! |
