Anyone recommend a good dog groomer - think Ria is needing a wee trim.

i work at a kennal that does grooming, but i also recommend Baskervilles dog grooming.

most groomers you contact will have at least a months waiting list.

Hi All,

Been a while I know, too busy with me work to drag my sorry butt along.

Fred is needing a good wash and I went into a local grooming place in Coatbridge and was quoted £35 to get him washed and the likes, is this good bad or indifferent or can any one suggest somewhere they know. I know Kendal works in the kennels and they do this but not sure where this is.

Cheers folks.

Hope to get back soon.

wow that is mental, i think that's what my work charges for a poodle. i don't really know what the prices are for a collie at my work but i don't think it would be above £10-15 as i think that what we charge for a lab(i don't often deal with the grooming clients when they pick up the dogs). i would shop about a bit and see if you can get it a bit cheaper.

you did explain to them that he is a smooth coated collie, i mean he doesn't really need any trimming.

According to me, pet owners should include basic techniques and easy to understand terms covering bathing, brushing and clipping for dog grooming.
