We're booked up for Crufts 2008! Smile Anyone else going, or planning to go? This will be my 3rd year at Crufts.

I love watching the agility, heelwork to music and the displays - and of course the trade stands!! Very Happy

You should do, Kirsty, you would all have a ball, i'm sure. Smile

If you intend to stay overnight, i'll give you the details of the hotel we stay in. Clean, and reasonably priced.

We got our flights with BMI Baby on Tuesday, the last day of their flight sale, but I don't expect they'll be too expensive now.

Johh had said this was discussed at the committee meeting. Apparently they were going to look in to organising a club trip to crufts. Not sure on the details.

Yes it was suggested by Allan and discussed. The club are currently looking in to costs of buses compared to costs of flights to see what would be more viable. The club are hoping to subsidise the cost to members should a group want to go.
We will keep you posted. Smile

I have always wanted to go to crufts, the GSD day for me. but could never get anyone who wanted to go with me. GSD rescue people go to the shepherd day but never knew anyone well enough to invite myself. know we all want to see different things but sure we could work out something to suit everyone

German Shepherds are Pastoral Group, aren't they? I think thats the Saturday this year.

Kirsty, if the club decide not to go, you can tag along with us if you like, but we won't be there on Pastoral day, the Saturday. Saturdays are incredibly busy, as is Sunday as it's BIS day. The Thursday and Friday are busy, obviously, but not as bad as the weekend! Smile

Crufts 2008

6th March - Toy and Utility
7th March - Gundog
8th March - Working and Pastoral
9th March - Terrier and Hound

I think the Sat would be the day most people would be able to do anyway.

Me and Allan were at crufts a few years ago so I would miss the hounds and terriers, anyway they have the discover dogs where I could get my hound fix Very Happy and also seeing the rare breeds is good to, i want to see a Sloughi and an Azawakh.

we went to crufts the year the whippet won Very Happy
