i am new to this game of forums. My name is amanda my dog is a chocolate lab and her name is Yoda. we have recently joined the class in westfield on a tues. I noticed in this pup group that there was a class on a thursday. Is this the case. I would hate to think i was missing out. Yoda is only 15 weeks old.

I also noticed someone mention pup play dates. Are these still running Yoda and i would love to join up.

I also wanted to also find out if someone can give me a hint. I am finding it hard to walk yoda because she pulls so much and i suffer from arthritis. I have to ensure there is someone with me to help.

it would be great to speak to other pup owners

thanks amanda

Amanda,

I've posted a few head collar suggestions that you could try on Yoda, they're on your other thread about pulling on the lead. Smile

I use a halti on my very strong young pointer and it makes an amazing difference. And the puppy class is great.

Good luck with the Halti - it is well worth the persiverance and patience.

Do let us know how you get on with it. Any questions about it - just ask. Smile

Hi Amanda!

My puppy is 4 months now (ah, time flies!)
The Thursday night puppy school is organised by Eleanor, and it is seperate to the Dog Training on a Tuesday. My Rufus has his final week there next Thursday, and then we will be starting to come to the club sessions. (hopefully!) So I will look forward to meeting you and Yoda there!

The puppy walks have stopped now, as too dark at night! Sad But if your pup is up to it, there are the daily walks with all the other members. I am hoping to start going to these with Rufus (the weekend ones)
