I'm sure he will be fine Smile Just need to get him seen to! At least we have caught it really early as he has only been limping for over a week now.

Glad we have insurance tho! Not sure what we would have done without it!!!!!

Poor wee Jake.
Our daughter Claire's GSD has problems with her hip and at one point the Vet school wanted to do a hip replacement but they tried out various options like losing weight, cod liver oil tablets, gluglosamene ( don't think that's the way you spell it) magnetic collars etc. and today when she went back to the vet school they said she was in great shape for a dog her age. So maybe wee Jake will be the same and the alternative therapies will help.

Hope so Jim hope so! I have ordered a magnetic collar and pad for him to lie on, will start him on Glucosamine asap. Vet has given him pain killers and our appointment is on the 27th December with the specialist.

Poor wee man!
Lots of luck to him. This is the kind of thing that makes me not grudge the insurance payment, you just never know if something like this is going to happen!

Try insuring 4 dogs, especially pensioners, I cant afford it, my horse insurance is less than it would be for the 4 dogs, actually my house insurance is less too Rolling Eyes
