I've just had both boys in the shower Shocked it wasn't an easy task. Emily dressed in shorts and a Tshirt took them in one at a time and showered them with a mild dog shampoo and thoroughly rinsed them. Hoping that will make a difference. Very Happy
They're both now lying sleeping .................. and my shower room looks like a pig sty!!!!! Laughing

I have bought some Johnson's tea tree shampoo helps to soothe and calm skin irritations. So I have been out in the back garden with buckets of hot water, will see if this helps. Kristy and some other woman states they have the same problems. It could be the central heating god knows. It’s funny how some of the dogs in the pack have the same symptoms. Will let you know if this shampoo helps.
Brenda.

Was at the vet today with bob as his skin is bad again. she has asked me to check with the vet for insurance for medication. seemingly there isa new product on the market which is good for dogs who are not responding to piriton or other anti hists but this is very expensive

When Basil's skin was very bad i used tea tree oil shampoo and fed him evening primrose oil capsules in his food. He still has a tendency to dry skin so I give him evening primrose oil with his dinner. It seems to work. It certainly handled his eczema.
Poor dogs. Hope all the itches are eased soon.

Evening primrose oil can get really good results but you need to be patient as it can take around two months to get fully into the system properly.

There is a doggy version which, from what I have heard gets much better results than the human version. Difference in the strength and in the casing.

Good luck though as there is nothing worse to try to clear up.

I bath Tara with Aloe Vera Shampoo and give her a pollen tablet everyday and evening primrose, as her skin when she was a puppy was sensitive and use to break out, so far using the above products she has been O.K. Norma

sounds like I ought to stick with the evening primrose then. I knew it took about 2 months to get well enough into their system ............ just need to remember to give the boys it every day!!!! But it's costing me some amount of dairylea triangles! Confused

Marcella, try bread with either jam, honey or peanut butter, our lot will eat any of that and the tablet sticks to the spread, I fold it over the top of the tablet and ....... taadaa ......but then you know how greedy my lot are Embarassed
