Sorry to hear about Dodge, Kirsty.. hope he gets better soon.

Now, call me a freak.. Confused .. but has anyone considered using doggie boots? Once they get used to them, would save all this grief we have to go through. Do you get such things?

Yeh you do get such things... i saw them on the Cav forum the other day. See here laughing8

you also get them for sled dogs to protect there pads when running distances on hard ground

Poor Dodge, hope he is better soon. Was this out one of the walks this happened, see i have been missing loads.
I would never get those boots long and thin enough for Pixel i dont think

Dodge is still pretty zonked. I think the combination of the stress he went through and the painkilling injection the vet gave him along with an antibiotic injection have just tuckered him out. It is so strange to see him so lethargic.

Lindsay came in off a back shift and Dodge did not even move from the top hall, normally he is in a state of high excitement to see his 'daddy'.

what a hoot though, when he followed me down the stairs he went right up to lindsay at the couch and thwacked his big padded leg up beside linds Laughing Laughing talk about milking it. then flopped down on his bed and has not moved again since. my heart is really breaking for him, he has no idea that he is housebound for the next couple of weeks Crying or Very sad

Oh poor Dodge prob best he doesn't know he is house bound or he would be even more sad Sad am sure he will be back to him normal self soon
