Digressing a bit I know, but I do try to keep Cuthbert well exercised and hopefully though not that often, quite tired. He comes in from a long walk, flies round the room for a while then dozes for a little with one ear open for any activity.
He will be back to normal very soon but pack order is being enforced again so that should help too! I don't know, see these dogs, give them an inch and they take a mile! _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |

I switch him to the ultra-bland diet the vet recommended when he was unwell. This consists of:
Breakfast: one egg, whisked with a wee bit of water and "scrambled", then cooled slightly
Dinner: plain white fish (Tesco sell boxes of 6 frozen Coley steaks - he gets two of these, cooked in micro and cooled) mixed with a small handful of cooked pasta
Bedtime: large tbsp plain live bio yoghurt

Hi Linsey
What a great 'bland' diet this is! I've copied it out and will keep it somewhere safe! Oscar isn't prone to upset stomachs, but this is so handy to have!
Thanks!

Hope Cuthbert is feeling better today.
Linsey that is a good wee diet, must keep a note of it too, though luckily this lot have tummies of Iron, well we always forget to hide the bin and they get into everything, 'specially Pixel _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

Yep, Cuthbert is back to his normal cheeky and mischievous self today thanks. We've just come back from a walk he took me now I'm tired and he's ready to do it all over again! That ultra bland diet sounds interesting so I'll keep a note of it for next time. Thanks for that Linsey. _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |
