she will be fine just get the floors covered and take her out walks in quite areas at night on the lead so she gets her exercise. I walk both of mine through their seasons just keep them on lead and politely tell folk she is in season so they keep their boys away, if you don't walk them thy are nuts for 3 weeks then got daft when they get out, plus they put weight on if you don't walk them through their season.

thanks everyone, i plan to walk her through her season. Will make sure we do so in quiter areas and no off lead at all! Glad its came now, gets it outta the way for another 6 or so months! Its funny... at min anyhow! She just looks so bewildered the wee lamb! Confused

Wee soul. First season will be confusing for her and hormones do funny things too. Like Emma said tummy rubs are good for her.

well not even a week gone and i,m totally feeling as thou i havent been out a walk for donkies! Evil or Very Mad Tikka is in totall bewilderment, think she thinks shes been bad, and is grounded or summit Very Happy . Felt bad when i seen wee dora all spolied rotten, so she has had belly rub after belly rub tonight and a few more treats than she normally gets! Wink
The wee sole has been cleaning most of her mess up herself, nothing to do with my tyrant ways, honest Twisted Evil . Roll on the end of this!!! Arrow

Our GSD bitch used to clean up after herself too. We'd go get a mop and she'd still try to clean. ............ Emily was always heart sorry for her!

yeah, just round the block Ashley! First thing in morn, last thing at night, but as you know she's used to so much more! She has been getting out in garden as often as she likes aswell, but looking forward to the end of it! Rolling Eyes

We still took Tess down the glen when she was in season. Kept her on a leash mind, although it was an extenda leash. She was giving all the old boys that met her a wee lease of life, even the payed ones forgot they had been under the scalpel. 3 and a half weeks of being on the leash and she was demented mind you. Good luck with it mate.

There is quite a good few dogs in our street, so nearly always we come across one or two whilst out! Confused I suppose not all of them are boys, but the glen at the times a would be able to take her is a no no! I,m not some seedy perv but it doesn't half swell up, does it? Shocked
