Firstly .......... apologies if anyone is eating or is of a sensitive nature as the following photo of Murphy's nose is quite disturbing!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

He has had problem with a dry nose for months and even though he gets his oil of evening primrose daily and also tried some vaseline on his nose. But nothing has cleared it up.
Both boys also suffer from pressure sores on their elbows with lying on hard surfaces.... pic of that too........

So following discussions with PaulD and also Allan, they both mentioned a product called Camrosa www.camrosa.co.uk which was initially created for use on horses but offers great results to all animals.
I have put it on Murphys nose since this pic was taken and shall follow the instructions accordingly. I will take another pic of his ugly beak in a few days and see what kind of results we get. Smile Both have had it applied to their elbows too, it is supposed to encourage cell and hair regrowth.

Wondered if anyone else has used this product?

Good, I have high hopes. Already Murphy's nose is looking less angry and more moisturised. Will keep to the twice a day applications until it's healed. Smile

OMG how sore must his wee nose have been. I have never noticed it bleeding before Marcella,

My boys, particularly the blond boy, have pressure sores so if this works I will get some.

Awww could just give that Murphs nose a wee kiss right now xx

if he were human I would take a nasal swab and put him on an antibiotic nasal cream
worth bearing in mind if your current cream doesn't seem to be clearing it
