Does anyone know if we weren't to get Tara dressed this season but get her done next time would it be a total nightmare living with Mylo and Tara in the same house or would it be ok, Mylo has already had the chop chop Shocked Laughing Thanks

yes but if he has had chop chop he can do nothing apart from annoy Tara big time, unless you want Tara to have puppies let her have this season and have her seen to half way between.

I have heard it a few times and heard people say it plus the vet knew what a meant does sound nicer I think even if it's wrong Laughing Laughing Laughing Very Happy

Ozzie hasn't been undressed Laughing or bit's taken away but he has been no problem at all Suzie has been dressed!! and I guess Oz is a very patient boy waiting Laughing

Claire, I think it is a very common way of expressing it. I knew exactly what you meant. You may be a bit late now to have her dressed if she is approaching her first season. It would be best to have her done midway between seasons. The vet will advise you about when is best for her.
Sorry I only know about Danes and Beagles bitches. I think each breed can be different. I do know that my boys are still interested in a bitch in season even after they have been snipped.

i usually call it dressed too
but some people say spayed
my vet called it an ovarohysterectomy

with boys I have always called it the snipp or jaffa (answers on a postcard please Wink) though, not sure alot of men agree with that word being used, hubby says that sounds painful or just plain cruel.
