OMG - Bob n Dodge both had them this week on their faces above there eyes.

bought a tick remover out of acorn a wire affair - it was rubbish it took about 10 tries to get one of the little b@ggers off of bob.

Always said if they got one was heading up to john and marcella's to get them out but callander was a bit far Shocked

These were grey things, I though dodge had a scab above his eye and was trying to pick it off (I know disgusting) two days later I notice the scab was a wee fat ball. YUK YUK

Bob has one under his chin right now that was too small to get at with the tick remover so an old farmer told me to leave it a couple of days and it would come out ok - oh the joys.

They are just soooooo gross - but hey ben lomond one friday, ticks out on the monday - its my achievement year Very Happy

I have been trying to get a tick remover yesterday without success and I will try again on the way to class but just in case can anyone please bring theirs along so that I can try again to get this tick off Cuthbert's paw. I tried with tweezers yesterday but couldn't get it and was too wary in case I couldn't get all of it. I hate ticks! Ugh!! Thanks.

Thanks for your help yesterday Allan and Janis. The "tick" turned out not to be a tick after all (I just hoped it was) but a dew claw growing back and threatening to be ingrowing and infected. So another lot of antibiotics and the possibility of surgical removal later. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Never mind it could be a lot worse so I'll not complain.
