We were away up north on holiday last week, and Otto got one on his belly. Ian got it out with my tweezers, fortunately it was easy to spot on his pink underbelly and not too engorged.
Strangely, we think he caught it on a wee 20 min bit of the West Highland way where he got a stretch of his legs en route. He didn't get another one the entire week - despite us living next to a field of sheep.
We bought special tweezers from an outdoor shop....but haven't needed to try it yet.
