|
|
Hello.
Seeking ideas for a name of our August arrival - our wee Cockapoo.
Due to misunderstanding, I was led to believe it was born on Friday 13th June. First thing I said was "that's lucky" and so being completely ironic Lucky was christened.
Breeder since advised that it wasnt the 13th - so the name Lucky has been thrown out the window. 'Not So Lucky' isnt quite as snappy and my son's suggestions of: 'Santa's Little Helper'; 'Homer'; 'Bart' even 'Itchy' or 'Scratchy' and just about everything else out of the Simpsons isnt much better.
Any suggestions for a name for a dog?
Pictures below to help inspire you all...
Cheers mi dears...
Colin

I like the name Toby! If we had gotten another puppy instead of rescuing our wee Murphy, then I'd have named him Toby.
I liked Kobo as well (but its Nigerian currency so not that striking a name! ) and also Togo (African country). _________________ Ashley with Holly & Murphy.
I hope to one day be as great as my dog thinks I am right now!! |

The Teenager wanted to call our dog Dave.
it was treated with the scorn it deserved - though it would be funny on a wee dog. |

Which is why I posted here...
Shouting for "Bart", "Homer", "Itchy", "Scratchy" or "Santa's Little Helper" in a public park isnt good - as much as an 8 year old thinks it is |

have you got no ideas Colin, nothing that you like? Or anything already suggested sounding good to you yet? |

Well, Toby is a bit too close to my brother's name Tony.
I like Charlie and Alfie.
My son's pal has a puppy called Alfie so that rules that out.
Looking at the Simpson's web site (which reminds me Nelson was another suggestion) just now to see if a Charlie has ever appeared so I can sell the idea to an 8 year old |
