What is this rain like today Sad

Im not used to having a dog that 'needs' a walk, the lurchers and the like, dont do rain and go out the garden for a quich Pee and back, but now, Luka really needs out for a walk as he drives us mad otherwise

I know shirely, I have already had the boys out and have been soaked. had a really bad experience with dodge down at croy this morning.

heard him screaming, ran back to where the sound was coming from and he was perched on top of the fence caught in some way, by the time I got to him he was just dangling face down and motionless....i thought he was dead. He was caught by his paw between two bits of wire which had somhow wrapped round him. so he was dangling purely on the weight of his paw.

I freed him and he came back to life. he was limping but by the time we got home he was walking ok though did give a yelp when I pressed his paw, but he seems ok.....his heart was going like a train and he was shaking from head to paw. not as much as I was though.

there is a funny side to this. my jeans were loose and just as I got to Dodge they had fallen to my ankles, so there I was jeans at ankles trying to free Dodge and getting soaked in the rain Embarassed

That must have been terrifying for you and embarrassing once you calmed down enough to care about your jeans. I'm just glad you are both okay.

got out with Luka and Pixel when there was a wee lull int he rain but by the time we were half way it pelted again...there aint nothin as sad and depressed looking as a wet lurcher Laughing

Just been over croy with the dogs....I am soaked through.. Dodge is absolutely fine....thank you all for your concern.

So glad my wee dodge is fine. I miss seeing him. I was out in Croy this morning with the telephoto lens I wondered why there was an eclipse Laughing
