Does Anybody watch this programme? My brother who has lived in France for about 15 years is going to be featured on this programme Thursday 29th Jan at 12.40pm My brother & his wife bought the house when it was a wreck and stripped the inside bare, floors walls everything and started again. My son David went there when he was 16 for 6 weeks to help with the demolition work, I went over on a few occasions as well to help decorating etc. Its a beautiful place right next to the sea. They did fantastic job on the house with most of the work done by my brother.

I watch this occaisionally, will need to have a look!

Just makes me green with envy though all these gorgeous locations...lucky you having somewhere abroad to go for a visit!

I love this programme too although I have a pants memory and keep forgetting to watch Rolling Eyes

LOVE Grand Designs too and I agree with Lisa, I'm usually green with envy by the end of the programme! Embarassed

Will TRY and remember to watch out for this one mind. Smile

by the way with my calculations you are far to young to have a son who was 16.... fifteen years ago when your brother was doing his house up???????????????????? or am i reading it wrong Very Happy

..........has your brother lived in France this long but the house was a more recent project ???????????????

because Grace i do not believe you could possibly have a son in his 30's
