She might have just pulled a muscle over exerting herself or twisting funny. If her leg and pad feels normal and she's not in evident pain (other than the varying limping you have described) I would just make her take things easy for a week or two to let it settle - Ella has done this loads in her little life and always eventually heals OK it just takes time Smile

Kisses to her for a speedy recovery.xxx

Spooky - I've had the same worry about Tess our 3 month old springer spaniel..

She has been looking a bit uncomfortable when she first gets out her crate with a slight tendency to favor her other legs.

This is the first week that we have been walking them outside, they have 4 X 15min walks per day.. so I'm thinking that it might just be muscle tiredness?

I've also not wanted to take her to the vet as she seems to still want to run about and play.

I was thinking cod live oil going forward as I know spaniels can have issues with their hips..

I can't believe how worried I get over little things.. my husband Jim has a really sore back at the moment and he doesn't get anywhere near the attention that Tess does for a slight limp..
