Well with spring in the air and the wee terrors looking a bit too scruffy.....
I decided to strip Bracken...... 4 hours later and 2 blisters on my hand....
she is a new dog... and very proud of her new hairdo!

you wouldn't really notice a 4th border to strip , would you Tricia
was hoping I could just slip buddy into your pack as he is badly needing done
dont they look so different , all soft and puppy like afterwards
do you use your hands or a stripping knife-I find the knife better |

Just finished stripping Ruby.... one more to go...
I use a stripping knife as well, find it much easier. That was the first time that I have done Ruby as she is only 10 months.
She was a lot easier to do that Bracken, took half the time (2 HOURS)
Think I'll leave Copper for a few days and let my hand recover... its hard work!
They do look so different though don't they!... like little pups again _________________ Border Terriers........

Fantastic result!!!
We used to have rough coated parson russells that need stripping, thank god Tess is only broken coated and Belle is looking to be more of a smoothy. So no more heavy stripping for us!!
Well done you on great looking job!! _________________ Parsons Russell fanatic |
