Otto has done himself another injury - swollen elbow this time. Vet reckons he's knocked it and is on anti-inflammatories and on limited exercise. Tell him that, he went out for a pee, then came hurtling round the side of the house, slipped on wet grass, crashed into the bin then hit his thigh off the garage. Hopefully he hasn't hurt himself - seems ok. 2 trips to the vet in one week is a bit much.

So he's on a lead even in the back garden now - it's the only way to slow him down. Anyone know where you can by protective clothing for dogs Rolling Eyes

Bit too much joie de vivre that dog.

I'm getting me one of them - although knowing him he'd do his feet or his nose!!

His best stunt dog manouvre was going haring along a bridge only to realise it had steep steps, the bridge ended, he didn't and like Wile E Coyte almost stopped in mid air with legs going. He just rolled into a big bit of grass - needless to say, Otto doesn't get taken anywhere near cliffs.

He fell in the canal twice last week. Mind you, I fell of my bike at the weekend and am covered in bruises. You get the dog you deserve.

Suzanne: Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

OMG - you should have called him Kamikaze!!! He is soooo like a Staffie for his exhuberance and lack of gears it's either go fast or stop isn't it? With not much emphasis on the stopping Rolling Eyes

Hope he gets well soon - for the sake of your sanity if nothing else! Wink And I hope your bruises heal too.xx

Kendal - LOVING that pic, as you would expect Wink Smile

He is a nightmare when he needs to be confined to barracks - literally have to sit on him. His elbow is getting better though.

Vet said "these dogs feel no pain" - just as well. God knows what he'll be like with a mucker to roll about with.

Went to see the pups yesterday...I was more interested in the 4 adult GSPs, puppies are too young so too boring. Very big though.

Will go back in a month and choose the next nutter.

Poor you!
Hek has a persistent swollen elbow from his escapades. he had it drained twice by Vet who said it was a 'bursa' - think thats the spelling. He could get an op but that was no guarantee for it not coming back, in fact it was a big dog thing apparently.

Anyway, he and I now match...gommy knees for me and gommy elbows for him...fab!

doesnt seem to worry him so thats good.

speedy recovery for Otto, need to get to Thursday class and see all these lovely dogs! (without the big black beast!)
