Well after what seems like a long wait, Janey finally has her chickens. We now have 4 brown hens living in the shed at the end of the garden. And we've already had our first egg!!!!

I think Tess thinks all her Christmass's have came at once...

Kendal

We havnt ate the egg yet, I'm leaving it for Janey as they are her chucks. So it will prob lie there for ages, then I'll eat it and Janey will moan at me for eating it as I eat everything and she cant leave anything that it doesnt get eaten. Oops, sorry, did that sound like a rant?

Colin

They are actually fairly quiet. We are suprised at how quiet they are.

I'm just laughing at the thought of having chickens in our garden...the pigeons and the magpies are enough to drive Otto to distraction.
