Well the time has come now to let all friends on the dog forum who has given us support and laughter over the last few months and also to my Enzo's great dog trainer who never gave up on him John why we have not been to the dog training or on the forum the last couple of weeks,Craigs gran firstly passed away at a great age of 86 which was very hard on the family,i have been off work last week so with the gorgeous weather i have been walking Enzo to my mum/dads every day and both of us near enough collapsing at their door as it is such a long walk but the third day doing this Enzo has been marking his territory every 10 seconds and remember as we were coming out of the estate he was doing his business i heard a click and thought oh no this pinch collar has come loose (John did explain that it does have a quick release and we might want to use a second collar at the same time with the training leash),this has happened three times already but luckily been in my estate and managed to coax him to run after me as he ran like the wind as they say when he became unleashed, this time he ran so fast as he does but to the main road onto a oncoming car but as he was running so fast he was hit and the guy driving was angry at first thinking he was off leash to start with but i think just reacting to shock,i was devastated and phoned my friend Lynn to bring her car round as she also stays in the same estate ,the vet confirmed he died almost instantly,i have found this very difficult to deal along with all the family and although my heart is breaking every day and my two year old daughter is asking for us to open the back door to let enzo in Crying or Very sad , i do blame myself for not having that second collar on him Crying or Very sad

I'm so sorry to hear this, I can only imagine how you're all feeling. I'd be devastated if anything happened to either of mine. Don't blame yourself, accidents happen.

best wishes

So so sorry to hear this Tracey. You can take comfort in knowing you gave him a fantastic life, anyone else would have given up but your perseverance and love made Enzo into a dog to be proud of.

We are all thinking of you.

You gave him a chance when others wouldn't. You stood by him. You helped him. You LOVED him and dammit he KNEW it. He loved you back just as much.

My words won't help, no matter what I say but I'll be thinking of you & sending positive thoughts & love your way to help you through.

Take care babe, love to you all & strength to get through this horrible time.
