I have just managed to come on now and read the rest of the posts and although it still very much breaks our hearts i am grateful of the time we had with him,he was hard work but worth every second of it,we have a digital photo frame and 50% of photos are of Enzo and is very heartbreaking to see as he was just a baby in my eyes and Craig cannot even look as he is finding very much hard to deal with and think it will be some time till we get another gsd as we cannot ever replace Enzo Crying or Very sad

I dont think any of us on here are thinking its only a dog, I cant bear the thought of losing more of mines but even if a dog lives his/her full life, its still just never enough and every one of us here share your pain especially for Enzo starting out the way he was and coming on so well, im sure I speak for everyone in saying he touched my heart even tho he did not belong to me

A touching song and just fits Crying or Very sad

Aw Tracy my little love. They are NOT just dogs, they are part of each and every one of ours own family. I don't have children so you can imagine what my pooches mean to me. The loss of a pet, when you are a true animal lover, is nothing short of devastating and a very genuine bereavement process MUST be gone through.

In time you WILL look back at pictures of him and remember your time with him with much love and laughter. Stay strong sweetheart, only YOU will know the right time to get another pet. For me it had to be immediate when I lost my Mitzi I NEEDED another pup to focus on and to pour all of my love into but others needs weeks, months, even years. Do it when YOU are ready and not before and if you need me, just let me know.

Hugs & kisses to you all.xxxxxxxxxxx
