The wee one is a handful - feisty little git, but just so cute and affectionate. I don't know who's worse for causing bother though, they're as bad as each other, they nip each others lugs, want each others food.

Otto has really taken to him, although he plays a bit rough sometimes and the wee one comes running to mum....and barks from a position of safety before launching another assault.

How do I keep the carpets clean - paws cleaned at the back door with an array of increasingly manky towels and when that fails, and it often does, I use Vanish!!!

I bought a proper carpet cleaner, and all that did was lift the eau de dog up to the surface and we couldn't go in the room for a week.

Let's just say I wasn't a cheery as the woman in the shake and vac ad. I am far too fastidious to have not one but 2 gundogs in my life Laughing I am permanently cleaning carpets and repainting patches of wall where slaver and mud have been deposited and spraying air freshner.

But actually it's not them that causes the most mess...it's the human boys!
