Quote:
Provocatively entitled Time to Eat the Dog? The Real Guide to Sustainable Living, the book by Robert and Brenda Vale argues that owning a medium-sized dog has the same ecological impact as driving 6,000 miles in a 4x4 such as a Toyota Land Cruiser.

Having a cat is the equivalent to driving the same distance in a VW Golf.

we're stuffed then for owning:

a dog, 2 cats, a horse, a gas guzzling 4x4, a sports car and a shopping Ka

and we're thinking of another dog!! ...how could we? Rolling Eyes
