Hey puppy people Smile

After speaking with John today fancied giving this a wee go to see how much interest is generated. One of my true loves is art, however since working full time i have not been able to motivate myself to do any.I tend to work at my best time lines and purpose. With work, hospital and uni I'm looking for some sort of release and hoping getting back into my artwork could be just that! Basically I'm putting an offer out for anyone to have a portrait done of their pets (this can include cats for cat lovers) etc. I can use all mediums however personally i find the most striking to come from my watercolour acrylic style paintings. If you are looking for canvas work if you could provide a canvas of which ever size you require, or i can purchase this on your part however would be looking for the purchase money to be returned. Can also frame but again would be looking for a credit on this amount. Any size just specify which medium and size you are looking for and issue me a photograph of you choice.
Below is a short portfolio of my art work.

Credits to date relating to art;
Grade 1 in Standard Grade Art
Band A with distinction Higher Art
Art & Design 1st place award at Greenfaulds High
Artwork featured in the Suns paper
Artwork featured at various exhibitions, inc faces of Greenfaulds
and various Airdire exhibitions.
Sculpture has been used for various events, and example of sculpture

Portrait of a Werewolf. Watercolour acrylic style painting.

Reflection piece. Tiger in water. Watercolour acrylic style painting.

"My Faithful Friend" Higher piece.

Progression of Labrador cross portrait. Ink dot medium.

Progression of Labrador cross portrait. Ink dot medium.

Final portrait of Labrador cross portrait. ink dot medium.

GSD puppy. Watercolour acrylic style painting.

Portrait of BenJay. Grey scale pencil tonal.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy. Coloured pencil.

Portrait of Buster. Watercolour acrylic style painting.

BenJay. Progression of aggresion-folio progression. Coloured pencil.

Progression of Final Piece. Police dog GSD. Watercolour acrylic style painting.

Final Piece. Watercolour acrylic painting

All I'm looking for is some form of donation, which i will either issue to Dogs Trust or the Scottish SPCA from the Cumbernauld Dog Club.

If a few people do note some interest i can bring in the majority of the above for your perusal to training class.

Some of the artwork above I'm not 100% happy with but as I was under strict deadlines they had to make do. However, I would not give anyone a piece i was not satisfied with this.

Let me know Smile

Thanks

Laura

Many thanks for the recommendation Laura Anne Smile

The website osirisphoto is an old one. Linsey designed our new business site a while back. Our site is: www.photography-services.co.uk

Although weddings keep me busy, I do love pet photography. Here's a few of my favourite recent shots.

Hi there.

Yeh no problem at all Smile Just let me know if you'll be able to make the Sunday class or Thursday class and ill be sure to be there. I tend to take Muffy to the Thurs 8 o'clock classes but i come for the chat as well so i can meet u there any time/day. To be honest i really don't feel comfortable taking money for something i love doing, so all I'm looking for is a donation amount of what you see fit for the drawings/paintings which i will give to either Scottish SPCA or Dogs Trust from the Cumbernauld Dog club. The only thing id be looking for is a £5 deposit for each piece just to cover material costs and over and above that is up to yourself. Not looking to make any sort of profit from this just the paints i use are roughly £20 and just looking at the material i have left it probably wouldn't be enough. I can easily go through the majority of the paints from that in 1 or 2 pieces as i apply the paint very thickly to create the texture in the fur. Just so i don't make too much of a loss...

Let me know if your still interested Smile

Thanks

Laura
