grrrrrrr
took the girls for a walk all went well till we were heading home and Inca caught a sent, don't know what it was but it was far more interesting than me but didn't catch the attention of the others.
i spent about 10 minutes watching her run back and forth under the bushes and in and out someones garden.
i called her but it was like she couldn't hear me, but thats not what it was as she herd the people who stopped to ask what was wrong and barked at them, so it was just a case of ignoring me, but that didnt even encourage her down.
several times she came in grabbing distance but didn't stay long enough for me to catch her.
so stupid hear decided i would climb up the slope to try and grab her before she went back through the fence. lots of thorny bushes that i didn't want to hold onto so i went fro the only thick branch i could see, only to discover it wasn't attached to the ground.
so down i went and over my ankle, did Inca care, not a chance, only Gypsy jumped over to check on me.
eventually she came down after wandering further along the bushes, so i hobbled home and have now had to call my boss and tell her i wont be at work tomorrow as i cant guarantee i will be off any use as there is only two of us meant to be in tomorrow, and i if any of the bigger dogs pulled me i dont think i could hold them.
so i am very peeved off that i can no longer say i have never had to call in sick since i started there.
the girls are in the crate as they needed to dry off and to keep them out of the way so i didn't fall over them.
Inca had better suck up to me for this. _________________ microchiping and grooming www.chipnclip.co.uk

Poor Kendal, what a rotten day. Put your feet up and relax with a wee glass of wine. |

Ah poor you, maybe after you've rested your ankle tonight it may not be so bad tomorrow.

Poor you....doesn't sound like a fun walk!! Hope ur legs not too bad!
Why you like dogs? Ummm....best reason I've got just now is the fact they're a couple degrees warmer than us like your own personal hot water bottle. So just now I'm feeling rubbish and got another chest infection but alfie's spent the day up on the couch (ssshhh) cuddling me and making me feel better!! U got to love them! |

for inca's punishment i popped her in the bath .....she was getting a bit smelly and it is her least favourite place....the other two are bathed too.
as for kendal she is sitting on the sofa with her foot up as instructed and it is strapped.....should be fine a day or so!...............no wine for her though geraldine/jim.......she doesn't like the stuff!!!! _________________ Cockapoo's...a little of this, a little of that..........

wel all i can say is i'm glad to hear ur not the only 1 who has dogs that decide to rip the micky lol. i have no shame left. been working so hard with skye to get her to walk nice on the lead. all goes well untill she gets a burst of energy and decides to leap forward, always has to be when some one is watching me. haha. and u can just image what i look like with 40kilos swinging from the end of a lead. not fun. think i can see another pinch collar on the horizon. |
