Just have to say the biggest thanks to everyone who helped with the Tombola. We managed to raise a total of £245! And I still have a few items left for my next Tombola in two weeks time. Anne your cakes sold like mad! We were actually commented on how disappointed people were at the lack of home-baking so were chuffed we had some and we sold a lot of that. Jen thanks so much for dropping them off, sorry about the confusion of were I live. (No-one made any comment about us selling food). Kendals dog cake brought a lot of smiles Someone is actually looking for the recipe! And my liver cake that Janis helped me master sold out in less than 2 hours, and I had people come back for more. My salmon doggy biscuits sold well too although I had a lot more of them and the ones that looked the best (the bad breath busters) only sold a few, just goes to show. So have learned how to make decent dog biscuits now The tombola was very popular so thank you all guys for your contributions.
The girls behaved perfectly. We brought the crate along this time since it all was a bit much for Totts last stall and she had 2 panic attacks. We had them out at quiet periods to bring people in and during rushes and setting/packing up popped them in the crate. All 3 just lay perfectly together while other dogs were barking manic at other stalls. Little angels
Amber also won 1st for best behaved puppy and then best in show!!! Everyone fell in love with her and no snobbish remarks about her breed that day either! Haha The judge offered to swap her with her own puppy lol. Nice seeing some familiar faces as well.
Minus the wind blowing away all the info leaflets and some of the stock lol fab day all round, roll on Nr 3!
Once photographer Haig has moved pic onto his comp will put some up

Well done to wee Amber - my mum thought she was gorgeous and has made her change her mind from getting a labradoodle to a cockapoo in her retirement. Jordyn was thrilled that Lara got a rosette too. Lara was a bit nervy again at first being around so many other dogs but she did very well in the ring - no barking which is what we are trying hard at correcting.
No doubt we will see you at the next event as Jordyn loves them and Lara gets socialised. We know the liver cake went well because we tried to get some after it was sold out !!!!
