my pup Tash has hair in his paws/pads that needs to be to trimmed because it never stops growing. my question is can I just take scissors to it till it clear of his pads?

badly worded post. question was can I trim hair between pads without the vet?

kendal my daughter will be better to answer this post as she grooms our pack but for the time being i will answer for just know.....and the simple answer is 'yes'. we find that if we don't trim the fur between the pads they can loos grip somewhat especially if on laminate flooring and slide about....possible resulting in bumps if charging about as puppies can do and can't quite stop in time!

Thanks all. I can do it when he is awake as every time we come home from a walk I lay a towel down and say paws. he lies on the towel till I have finished drying him. I check his pads and ears at the same time so introducing the trimming will not be hard, fingers crossed.
