Poor alfies having a tough time of it! Recovered well from his op an was using his leg ok but about 10 days ago he suddenly went lame and hasn't been able to use his leg since. Took him to specialist who did his op and He got x-rayed last week and all his metalwork was still in place. I was worried he had broken something. they took sample of joint fluid in his knee and he had an infection. been on 2 lots of antibiotics last week and no better. Got his results back today and he has MRSA in his knee. Came back as resistant to all the antibiotics he'd been given so now he has more antibiotics and prob on them for at least a month! Guess we'll not be back at class when it starts back in January! Fingers crossed he gets better soon, poor wee man!!
In true Alfie style tho, he's not that bothered. Sleeping a lot which isn't that unusual to be honest but he's not sore and not ill so at least that's something!

wee soul......but as you say he seems to take it in his stride and it's everyone else that is bothered and worried.

i'm sure with new anti-biotics it's ll eventually kick in....and he'll be on the road to full recovery!

enjoy christmas with him and we'll see him soon!
