You are not joking Kendal i could not wait. Got Her back at 10am the nurse said she is mad. She wants to jump about mad. She looks great this is when the hard work starts. I had to buy a new cage and put her in it because she just keeps trying to get on the couch and play with yoda. I will keep you all up to date. _________________ "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." |

Thanks everyone. She is going from strength to strength. Yoda had to go and stay with my parents because it was madness trying to keep Olivia calm. She has put her leg down and walking on it already. I cant believe the difference already. _________________ "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." |

I am glad everything is improving. Animals are so resilient. They bounce back so amazingly. That's great she is doing so well. Things will be back to normal in no time _________________ What youneed for the ultimate stressbuster---

We are 18 days post op and there is a problem. She had the TPLO operation and she has to rest. I took her to the toilet n lead and on the way back from the garden she jumped the 3 steps she instantly limped on bad leg. SHe then put it down again. However i feel that the leg does not look as steady as it did from the back. Does anyone know if there was a problem what happens do they do op again? would she be lame on the leg just now? The op has almost cost a total of £4000 so far we cant afford another op. OMG i am loosing it. _________________ "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." |

They would only reoperate if she had broken one of the implants I think. She's maybe just hurt it by doing a little too much. Might settle down. We had good days and bad with Alfie. He's never been upstairs in his life, he's not too good with stairs and tends to fall flat on his face a lot. And the only time I've ever found him upstairs was a couple of days after his first op, he ran upstairs and jumped on the bed!!! I was in a panic bit he was fine, bit sore after tho! |

thanks Lesley you know what its like when you pay all that money you just panic. She seems fine today. Yoda came home for a visit and they had a great day. She seems fine. I think she has just banged it. _________________ "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." |
