As you will all have seen, our classes, since resuming after the summer, are extremely busy. This in turn creates a huge amount of noise.
Whilst we work our way through the first month we will be able to promote some dogs into later classes thus freeing up more space in the early classes. Dogs will be graded so to speak and will be asked to attend the most appropriate class. Please bear with us whilst we do so as there are so many new starts that we have to assess so many.

We must ask everyone to PLEASE REMAIN OUTSIDE THE HALL UNTIL YOUR CLASS BEGINS. Anyone with a dog must remain in the entrance foyer until they are going inside to train at the appropriate time. If you wish to observe, you can only do so without a dog. NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED WITHIN THE TRAINING HALL UNLESS IT IS ON THE FLOOR WORKING. We have to introduce these rules as the noise level within the hall is a major problem.

We are going to do our utmost to get an amplifier and headset for next week if possible to allow you all to hear John whilst you are on the floor.

Also, from next week we will have the payment desk outside in the main foyer too, therefore you will have time to pay and ask any questions to the committee members before you enter the hall for training.
We hope these minor adjustments will make a big difference to your enjoyment of the class. Very Happy

Marcella

that all sounds pretty sensible to me I was finding it hard to hear and thus pay attention to what John was saying, I'll just bring the car and when my dogs are not training they can go in the car. Plus I will try and keep my motor mouth shut whilst watching the puppy class as I know even the slightest noise is echoed in that hall. Laughing

That sounds sensible. Its no-one's fault, just a big hall, but I found it hard to hear too.

Suzanne,
1st class - arrive from 7.15pm to begin at 7.30pm
2nd class - arrive from 7.45pm to begin at 8pm

etc etc

The dance class that is in the hall before us don't leave until 7.10pm. It simply doesn't leave enough time to get set up and begin class at 7.15pm, hence the 7.30pm start.

Anyone in the 1st class - please do not arrive earlier than 7.15pm as we have no access until then. Very Happy

Very Happy The new arrangements are definitely an improvement. It was much easier to hear tonight and I think the whole atmosphere was calmer and that helps the dogs.
